Radev spoke at the Bulgarian-Chinese Business Meeting in Sofia, which featured an exhibition of leading Chinese products and services.
In recent years, China has established itself as a very important partner for Bulgaria, and Bulgaria views China with great respect, Radev added.
Previously, a Bulgarian company assembled Chinese cars for several years, but the business proved unsuccessful, and the plant closed.
Over the past decade, relations between Bulgaria and China have deepened and expanded, but without major “breakthroughs”, the report says.
Radev also urged Chinese companies to take advantage of the good conditions for doing business in Bulgaria.
