The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) announced the fare hike on Saturday based on recommendations from the Fare Fixation Committee.
The new fare breakdown is as follows:BMRCL has introduced peak and non-peak hour fares, offering discounts to smart card users.
"BMRCL's proposed 45% metro fare hike, set for Feb 1, has been put on hold.
